QuickNode Bounty - USD$1,000 in stablecoins

- The best project built on Avalanche, which showcases innovation, fresh ideas, and user demand will be eligible for this bounty.
- On top of the submission artefacts, teams will also need to submit their QuickNode Avalanche RPC & the name of their QuickNode RPC as part of their project submission.

The Graph: Best New Subgraph Bounty - USD$1,500 in stablecoins

- Build a subgraph using The Graph.
- Teams have to ensure that their DApp/project should:
a. Use a custom subgraph built by the team to index blockchain data,
b. Use the subgraph studio to build a decentralised GraphQL API to index and query blockchain data,
c. Link to the subgraph source code,
d. Link to a live demo + video explanation

The Graph: Best Use of Existing Subgraph(s) Bounty - USD$1,500 in stablecoins

The best project that integrates existing The Graph/subgraph(s) in their submission will be eligible for this bounty.

Judging Criteria

Our judges will grade submissions across 4 equally-weighted categories:

1. Mass Usability:
How feasible is the idea? How adaptable is it across other integrations?

2.Technical Complexity:
What is the level of skill or knowledge required to build the submission?

3.Ecosystem Impact:
How impactful and useful the submission is in the Avalanche ecosystem as a whole?

4. Originality, Creativity & Innovation:
How new and novel the submission is versus existing technologies?

When is the Hackathon Held?
The event will be held from August 22 to September 28, 2022.

Who is eligible to participate in the hackathon?
This event is open to all!
We welcome everybody - experienced blockchain or non-blockchain developers who want to learn more about building on/for Avalanche, or are entirely new to Web3.So long as you are a legitimate citizen who is not within our list of ineligible countries, have a stable internet connection, and are 18 years old and above. Please refer to the eligibility restrictions section on the Participation Agreement.

Can non-developers/engineers participate in the hackathon?
Yes! We want anyone with ideas or the passion to innovate to participate. Teams will however need at least one individual who can build on the Avalanche platform.

What is the total number of participants I can have on my team?
The minimum number of participants in a team is 1, while the maximum number is 4.

Can I form teams with individuals from other countries?
Teams are recommended to be formed within your own locations & time zones to avoid time zone fatigue but this is not mandatory. You can choose to join a team located in another time zone as well.

Do all of my team members have to register for the hackathon?
Yes! Only registered individuals are eligible to participate. Please ensure that all members of your team have registered their teams accordingly as well.

Will I need a team in order to participate?
While participants can submit a project individually, we encourage everyone to form teams (of up to a maximum of 4 members) where possible to make the ideation and development process more enjoyable!
